Today, I want to acknowledge you for reading these posts if you’ve been following for awhile, and taking action in order to make changes in your financial life.

This stuff is NOT easy. In fact, one of the biggest fears I hear from people who are considering working with me is that they’re scared. They know that part of our work together will be getting crystal clear on where they stand financially.

And deep down, that can be really terrifying.

They’re secretly afraid that the situation is actually WORSE than they think it is.

Does this sound like you?

Are you having a hard time looking at all your numbers at once because you fear the worst?

I want to share with you that I lived in that place for far too long, years in fact, before doing anything about it.  Classic money avoidance. Happens to the best of us.  🙂

I was afraid that what when I finally looked at the numbers I’d be powerless to make a change.  It felt better to avoid the whole thing.  Plus, I felt like I didn’t have anyone to turn to.

Well, I want to tell you that knowing your numbers, having the courage to see it all in the light of day is the first step towards healing.  And yes, I do use that word intentionally.

You can’t heal what you can’t accept.  And you can’t take action if you’re in fear or denial or constant dread.

So today, if you’ve been hiding out and you don’t want to look – take the first step and shine light on the issue.  It’s kind of like ripping the band aid off and pouring alcohol on a cut. Stings at first, but that’s the only way it’s going to get better. You know it, your head knows it, it’s just that deeper emotions get in the way of you actually doing it.  I get it.

Also know that you don’t have to be alone in this process.  The whole reason I help people in this area is so that people have a place to go where they can feel loved on and supported through what can be a painful process of facing the numbers.  There’s no judgment. Just clarity, truth and solutions.

And then together we help you to figure out what to do next.  Sometimes it’s simple, sometimes more complex but the process of facing your numbers and making it a habit to continue to look at your numbers regularly is where real transformation begins.

Feel free to respond directly and let know how it’s going for you…
